the name Dalmore is derived from a combination of both Norse and Gaelic and, in fact, mean "big meadowland". Their single malts are consistently very fruity. The malt of Dalmore is not smoked over peat and is therefore not smokey. however the flavour of tobacco and delicate smoke often created by the ripening in the European oak berrels. An indulgent smooth single malt whisky matured in American white oak Ex-Bourbon Cask and aged tawny port pipes.
Nose - Blackberries and blackcurrents with touch of apple peels, some syrupy and creamy note
Palate - A syrupy hit in with raisin and snap of brandy note, bring out some spice and cinnamon
Finish - Long finish, Charred oak wood and very light roasted coffee beans. end with peppery
