Bunnahabhain. The name is a tongue twister, pronounced as 'Bunn-na-ha-venn', and means 'mouth of river' in scots Gaelic. Stiùreadair is pronounced as 'stew-rahdur' means 'helmsman' in Scots Gaelic. Whilst Islay is known for its peated whisky, Bunnahabhain stands apart with its signature least peated style with the tallest stills on the island and the only distillery to use water from a natural spring.
Nose - Sweet fruity and clear salty, remind of cooked apples and suger sweet orange.
Palate - Raisin and sherry with dark berries and a pinch of salt with.
