Tomintoul Distillery is located inside the picturesque Glenlivet estate, within the whisky producing region of Speyside. The distillery is named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland and with the Ballantruan spring water used to make their whisky give it a name of "The gentle dram".

Nose - Rich Oak and Barley, citrus blossom and sweet vanilla 

Palate - Creamy malt, butterscotch and a pinch of pepper spice 

Finish - light tobacco leaf, more vanilla and tropical fruit
