Elegant and complex single cask, single malt whisky, matured in hand-picked oloroso sherry casks, resulting into a powerful whisky that exudes class and sophistication.  Retaining freshness and fragrance through a long fermentation and low distilling to maximize copper retention, its thick texture allows a slow sweet oak spiced palate, and a long light fruity and warm finish going down.  Overall, Spicy, fresh and invigorating. Leave it for 10 minutes and come back to it to find the sweeter notes taking a step back to give room for even more spices and wood. A drop of water and the floral notes liven up, with clear nutty touches as well.

Nose - Fresh and fruity with aromas of banana, plum, apple, honey and cut hay, joined by some salty/ozone, spicy notes of Cayenne pepper, lemongrass, ginger and clove.  Equal lot of vanilla leading the way with a creamy sensation, some honey, but also earthy, almost tobacco notes coming through, which open up further to a more floral-grassy note.

Palate - Clean and lively with lemon, citrus fruits and sweet oak, softened by vanilla, coconut and almonds. Later, notes of aromatic plants, liquorice, ginger and cinnamon develop.

Finish - Full, long and warm finish as the spices linger on – salt, candied fruits, vanilla, praline and herbs. After adding water the wood pops up again, and the spices become softer, more gentle if you will.
