The name Macallan is derived from Gaelic word 'magh', which means 'a fertile land', and 'Ellan' thathonors St. Fillan', a monk who spread Christianity in Scotland during the 18^thcentury. Founded in 1824 in the heart of Speyside, The Macallan was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be legally licensed. 

Nose - Rich, thick sherry note, fruity sweet and some toffee. more citrus after a few smell

Palate - it's soft at the same time rich in flavour, hints of spice, mature oaky and orange peels

Finish - lingering with dried fruit, a lovely long finishing. remind me of coffee beans
