Pronounced "Awe-khen-tosh-en", Auchentoshan is a Scottish Gaelic word that means "The corner of a field", and according to Dundas, the distillery was built in 1823 in the outskirts of Glasgow. The Auchentoshan 12 is triple distilled and aged perfectly for over twenty one years in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks.
Nose - Honey, citrus like lemon peels with some unique tobacco leaf that usally found in auchentoshan.
Palate - some dark nut like roasted almond and bitter chocolate, hint of smoke. it's nice and complex on the palate.
Finish - Light and floral, oak wood and spice that lingering afterward
