Bowmore was founded in 1779 by John P.Simpson. Like most of the other distilleries Bowmore was established as a farming distillery. He Named the distillery 'Bowmore' which is Gaelic for great reef. The Bowmore used hand select Ex-Bourbon and Ex-sherry cask to matured this finest whisky for over 18 years.

Nose - Light smoke and hint of oak wood. brings some citrus like orange peels

Palate - Raisin and brown sugar for the first sip, come out with salted caramel and sweet peat smoke 

Finish - Dark peat, blossom floral, and remind me of the cigar smoke after taste
